Proof of Concept Demo: Anonymous Single-Sign-On using our DataVault and WalletBridge Magento extensions
Welcome to our innovative demonstration, where we showcase the integration of two cutting-edge modules: SSO SecureVault and WalletBridge. These modules represent our dedication to advancing eCommerce & blockchain technology, and provide a Proof-of-Concept demonstration for our Project Catalyst proposal (110395)
Our goal is to allow you to shop anonymously across every Adobe Commerce Magento website using encrypted data stored inside an NFT within your Cardano wallet.
There are over 250K + LIVE websites using Magento by some estimates, totaling an estimated gross merchandise value (GMV) of $225 billion in 2021. Imagine being able to shop seamlessly and anonymously on this many websites while paying for your purchase with Cardano or Ergo!
How to Test/Demo our Proof-of-Concept:
SSO DataVault: You can test the encryption and decryption functionality by creating a customer account as you normally would when shopping online. An cccount registration link is in the header. Once an account is created you will be logged in and will be redirected to your customer account where you'll notice all your information that you registered with. All data is shown as encrypted with the exception of your first/last name, state, and phone number. More work is needed to decrypt the rest of the data. This showcases our proof-of-concept for this piece of the puzzle for our proposal.
WalletBridge: When browsing on desktop you can click the wallet icon in the header next to the shopping cart and currency switcher. From there you'll be able to connect and disconnect to your preferred wallet. This functionality showcases a vital piece of our proposal for it all to work. The WalletBridge module within this demo has had some functionality disabled so that people do not actually try to checkout and send us their ADA by accident. More work is needed to look up whether or not you have one of the NFTs with encrypted stored data and to gather that data if it exists and have our SSO DataVault extension process logging in or creating a customer account using that data.
SSO DataVault: Pioneering Customer Data Security
SSO DataVault is our commitment to unparalleled customer data protection in Adobe Commerce Magento 2. So far this module encrypts most customer data, except for email addresses and country directory codes. This is the main feature that will allow customers to shop anonymously and shop using ghost accounts. We call it a ghost account because your data is encrypted and decrypted on a need to know basis such as when a shop owner is processing your order or when you need to update your personal information. The end goal would be to allow you to shop on any Magento 2 website and create one of these ghost accounts seamlessly by connecting to your wallet using the WalletBridge module described below and reading the encrypted data from your NFT. No other action on your part would be needed, no juggling passwords and log in information, no more needing to fill out a customer registration form, no more packages delivered to your old address. All this data is encrypted and stored within your NFT whereby our software will decrypt it upon connecting your wallet, and automatically either log you in, or create an account for you if you choose to. All data stored in the shops database is encrypted. So if there's a data breach your data is secure and there will be no personal identifiable information leaked from a data breach.

Ongoing Development: Currently the only data that gets decrypted at the moment are first name, last name, state, and phone number. We're actively working to enhance decryption capabilities so that everything gets decrypted as planned. This is just the first step.

WalletBridge: Seamless Blockchain Wallet Integration
WalletBridge seamlessly connects customers' blockchain wallets to our eCommerce platform, enabling interactions with the customers wallet as well as with their digital assets like NFTs. More work is needed for this to work fully with the SSO concept but the core concept of being able to connect and disconnect from a customers Cardano wallet exists as well as being able to checkout and place orders. The WalletBridge module within this demo has had some functionality disabled so that people do not actually try to checkout and send us their ADA by accident. The end result would be able to scan and read encrypted data stored from within one of your NFTs and then our SSO module described above would decrytpt the data and perform the functionality described above.
